Marina Willer



Marina Willer was born in Curitiba, Brazil, and did her master’s program in graphic design at the Royal College of Art in London between 1993 and 1995. While working at Wolff Olins, in London, between 1998 and 2001, she developed visual identity projects for the Tate Gallery, the Southbank Centre and Oi Telecomunicações. She is currently a partner at Pentagram. Marina also directs independent short movies. Her work as a filmmaker has been shown at the Cartier Foundation, in Paris, at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London and film festivals such as the Clermont Ferrand and the Rotterdan Film Festival. In 2004 she received the best short movie award at the São Paulo International Film Festival for her documentary Cartas da Mãe, a story about Brazil told through letters from Brazilian cartoonist Henfil to his mother.
