Niklaus Troxler

Niklaus Troxler was born in Willisau, Switzerland, in 1947, and studied graphic design at the School of Art in Lucerne. In 1971, he moved to Paris and worked as an art director until he opened his own studio in his native town, where he still develops projects for posters, book and album covers, illustration and typography. A jazz aficionado, he has created many posters for festivals and concerts. Some of them have had international exhibitions and are part of the collection at the New York MoMA, Amsterdam’s Stedelijk Museum and the German Poster Museum, in Essen.
