Intégral Ruedi Baur
Ruedi Baur was born in 1956 in Paris and studied graphic design at the School of Applied Arts in Zurich. In early 1980, he returned to France and opened his first studio based in Lyon, moving to Paris years later. Specializing in the cultural area, Baur developed projects for major institutions of French art, including the Picasso Museum, the Louvre, and in particular, the Centre Georges Pompidou, where he was responsible for signaling and identity for its reopening in 2000. Two years later , opened a branch of his studio in Zurich.
Since 2004, Ruedi Baur is a professor at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Zurich. He is responsible for Design2context, a recently founded institute for design research.
